The Burrowes State School Student Council consists of students who are elected by their classmates. The elected Student Leaders from Years 3 - 6 meet regularly, collaborate with students across the school, develop leadership skills, promote important causes and raise awareness to enhance the wellbeing of our school community. Our Student Council is responsible for organizing events such as National Disaster awareness e.g. earthquake in Turkey, QLD floods etc., Spread kindness for Dolly, Harmony Day, Multicultural Day, Free Dress Days for State of Origin, FIFA Women's World Cup, Walk safely to school day for Road Safety Week, Day for Daniel, Purple for Epilepsy, Bullying no way, and Christmas hampers for the elderly local community.
