Year 6 Currimundi Camp 2023
Each year we conduct a camp for our year six students.
The camp is designed to develop character through skills and contexts that are socially, mentally and physically challenging. It is not designed to be a holiday away from the school. Activities at the camp will develop the important life skills of initiative, self-reliance, communication and team work to solve problems. The camp forms an integral part of the year six leadership program.
In 2023, we have arranged for the students to attend Currimundi Active Recreation Centre, located on the Sunshine Coast. The children will travel by bus and engage in activities they would not have access to within our school facilities. Mrs Foster is the co-ordinator of this camp.
Year 4/5 Camp Goodenough 2023
2023's Year 4/5 camp is to be held at Camp Goodenough. Camp Goodenough focuses on the development of personal characteristics in individuals and promote valuable life skills such as communication, team work, self-confidence, self-discipline and self-reliance as well as problem solving. This camp is one of many highlights for Year 4 & 5 students. The children will travel by bus and engage in activities they would not have access to within our school environment. Miss Kendrick and Miss Sosa are the camp coordinators for this year.
