Our resource centre here at Burrowes is a fantastic building with an array of resources and equipment to enrich the learning of our students. In the resource centre we have our large library, two large conference rooms, two smaller rooms for group work, a green room for movie production, two interactive whiteboards, two state of the art interactive projectors and lounge areas for students to relax with their favourite book.
Students are welcome to come in and read a book, as well as work on a computer or play a board game during break time.
Students can borrow books during term times either before school, lunchtime or during their class's borrowing session.
Prep - Year 3 can borrow 1 book
Years 4-6 can borrow 2 books.
Loans are for 1 week with the option to renew if the student hasn't finished reading their book.
Students need a library bag to borrow preferrably a water proof one and a safe place to put their library book when it is at home.
Our annual Book Week celebrations will take place 22-25 August in 2023
